What’s Your Excuse?

Hey, Steve Fisher here, Author of the Amazon Best-Seller, Residual Millionaire, and I wanted to share an experience with you that I had today that had a huge impact on me. In my book, I have a chapter titled Residual Millionaire Fitness and I discuss the importance of maintaining your health in order to perform at your highest levels in business and in life. But so many people make excuses for not exercising and eating right! So before you watch this video, think about what your typical excuses are… Today, I thought I would help you overcome those excuses! Watch this video!

Today I was invited to visit the Adaptive Training Foundation in Dallas, where some of our veterans who have lost limbs or have been injured in battle go to get personal training from David Vobora. David was an NFL linebacker with the St. Louis Rams and Seattle Seahawks and has a passion and gift for working with injured veterans and helping them get their life back. When I visited their gym today in Dallas, I found myself not only becoming extremely grateful that I have all my limbs, fingers, toes, eyes and my overall health, but I also started thinking about some of the lame excuses that I’ve made in the past. One of the guys I saw today was a gunner in Iraq and had half of his face and part of his left hand blown off when his vehicle was hit by a grenade. His fellow Marines didn’t  realize what had happened to him until one of them looked up and saw brain matter on the right side of his head… He was still shooting and fighting and they pulled him back in and got him to medical… An amazing story. He’s had 20 reconstructive surgeries and works out like a beast!

 

These guys are the real deal… Real heroes. I also met several other veterans who lost both of their legs and you will see them working out in this first video. Many are working out from their wheelchairs! At the end, I’ve included the Adaptive Training Foundation video.

So, let me ask… What excuses have you been using? <smile>  You can do this guys! I challenge you to make a decision that you are going to live a healthy lifestyle by exercising and eating right. It will make a huge difference in your business success, you’ll feel better, and you’ll have more energy for life!

Let’s all stop making excuses and work like these heroes work!
