Are You Struggling With Getting Duplication In Your Network Marketing Business?

I recently had someone send me a message on my blog and they said they felt like they were trying to push a wet noodle when it came to building their network marketing team… This made me laugh and I wanted to create this video for you. If you’re struggling to get duplication on your team or if you lay awake at night wondering why your team is not sponsoring and duplicating… You need to watch the video below, I share some great tips with you!

This topic of duplication is the most requested subject on my blog, so I’m going to do a series of videos on this topic because there is so much to cover here!

In Part 1, I’m going to cover WHAT you want duplicated… I want you to ask yourself this question, “Would I want my team to duplicate my actions?” In my opinion, this is a question that all of us have to ask ourselves on a regular basis! It’s important that you are DOING what you WANT duplicated, not just expecting your team to do it.

We all want our team to grow out of our control, but it starts with us. Now, having said that, one of the biggest misconceptions in network marketing is that your success is based on you being a great recruiter. That is not true.

It’s important to know that:

“Being a great recruiter does not make you a million dollar earner in network marketing nor does it guarantee that you will have a big team. Becoming a million dollar earner in your network marketing business comes from mastering the art of team building. It comes with learning the skills and learning how to create and use systems and tools that allow your team to duplicate.”

In network marketing, your income is directly proportionate to the size and speed of the team you build. If you are the only one doing anything on your team, then you have most likely built a dependent team or sponsored the wrong people. In other words, in most cases, they are waiting for you to do it for them. This can be caused by wanting to do it all yourself or wanting to be in the limelight and believe me, I struggled with this in the beginning of my business. I was a perfectionist and felt like if it was going to be done right, I had to do it. This is a recipe for burnout and a lack of duplication. I learned that the hard way. You have to be pointing to a system that enables duplication and massive growth.

So, today I want to cover what you need to do to start building your team the right way. The key is learning to be an inviter and a promoter, not a convincer and explainer. You want to get good at getting your prospects and your team to plug into events and systems… Websites, webinars, conference calls, home meetings, public meetings, your company’s events and your company’s annual convention. These are all events and tools that can be promoted and duplicated. They have 3rd party credibility, recognition, training, and they introduce your prospects and team to the culture of your company and your team.

So, getting good at promoting events and systems will prove to be the most important skill in your network marketing business. You always want your prospects and team to immediately see that they can do what you do. You want them to be able to point to the same events and system! When you are getting ready to show the plan, always ask yourself, “Can this person that I am showing this to do what I am getting ready to do.” You want to teach them how to be inviters and promoters!

In the beginning of your business, you do have to get it started and that means you are going to have to recruit some people on your team. So in the next video, I’m going to talk about taking personal action, recruiting, and how you find the right people.
